Rules for the provision of psychiatric care at the AdiCare clinic

  1. The medical services provided by the private clinic AdiCare s.r.o. are confidential, which means that any information about the patient's condition is provided to third parties only on the instructions and written consent of the patient.
  2. AdiCare provides outpatient psychiatry services. Individual patient examinations are subject to an appointment calendar. Emergency psychiatry is a separate service not provided by outpatient centers. In the event of an acute deterioration of the psychological state (significant worsening of anxiety-for example, panic attacks, depression, etc.), patients can always turn to the Crisis Centres near their home, which provide non-stop care. These centers provide acute treatment, medication or event hospitalization to bridge the acute crisis, and until the next visit to their outpatient psychiatrist. In the event of a very serious deterioration in health or physical condition, it is also possible to call the Emergency Medical Service at any time (telephone number 155). The latter will contact the doctor/psychiatrist on duty and, after consultation, will provide acute assistance or arrange transport to the appropriate place (e.g. Emergency Department, Psychiatric Clinic) where the patient will be examined by a doctor and receive specialised acute care.
  3. AdiCare provides a continuum of medical care, and it is essential to follow the treatment rules and follow the instructions of the attending physician. The date of the follow-up appointment is determined by the physician in relation to the client's medical condition. The intervals between check-ups are generally 3 months, with exceptions being determined by the attending physician. However, the maximum interval between check-ups is 6 months.
  4. In order to maintain the quality of health care, we do not provide medication to clients without a proper follow-up examination, e.g. only on the basis of an e-mail or telephone request from the patient. Exceptions are situations where the client has agreed on this procedure with his/her attending physician.
  5. Due to the busy capacity of the clinic, AdiCare reserves the right to terminate care to clients who do not arbitrarily comply with the recommended treatment rules.
